Did you know that in honour of Canada’s 150th entrance fees to all National Parks are FREE? (That is not a typo.)
These natural areas and sites are each, in their own way, distinctly Canadian. Both current and future generations will be able to enjoy these parks and sites in addition to all the ecological benefits of preservation of areas like these because of their protection under law. The preservation of our National Parks and historic sites is definitely something for all Canadian’s to be proud of.
If you are the adventurous type, can you imagine if you did actually visit all of these sites? Much like our list of Top 10 Tourist Attractions – this list would take you coast to coast and north to south. While tackling this whole list in just one trip isn’t likely – it makes for a pretty amazing bucket list don’t you think?
