#EXPLORETABOO - CLEARWATER POND

Clearwater Pond is home to many amphibious mammals, reptiles, and even a great blue heron! Keep your eyes peeled for our otter family friends, who contrary to popular belief, actually spend the majority of their time on land. Watch the rocks in the middle of the pond for turtles sunbathing in the warm sunlight… they pull themselves out of the water almost every day to bathe in the afternoon sun. Look closely along the shoreline of Clearwater Pond for frogs, who often reside in the shallow marshy area surrounding the pond. Lastly, why not take a stroll around the pond and look for the butterflies and bees that call the flowers around the pond home?
