#EXPLORETABOO - TRAILHEAD

Lace-up, it's time to hit the trails! Welcome to the entrance of the Taboo Nature Trails, an expansive area for you to explore! With nearly 8 kilometres of both hiking and biking trails to explore, the Taboo Nature Trails are comprised of Canadian Shield, ancient pine, maple, and birch trees. The trails are also home to a diverse range of mammals, reptiles, and birds. The further along the trail you travel, the higher your chances of seeing wildlife will be. Watch for deer, beavers, otters, frogs, turtles, and much more!

Find the two other #ExploreTaboo markers on the trail at Clearwater Pond and the Otter Pond Bridge. See any wildlife, neat trees, plants, or fungi? Share your photo on social media, tag us @taboomuskoka and hashtag #ExploreTaboo.
