Since 1996, this small batch hop shop has been handcrafting premium beers as unique and refreshing as the region they are from. Drop by for a six pack of their popular Muskoka Cream Ale or Mad Tom IPA as well as seasonal specialties like Summer Weiss, Harvest Ale or Winter Beard, a double chocolate cranberry stout.
Muskoka Boat & Heritage Centre 7km
With more than 1,500 lakes, it’s no wonder that life in Muskoka is all about boats. The Muskoka Boat and Heritage Centre, “Grace & Speed,” celebrates our region’s enduring ties to boating as both a recreational pastime and a hallmark of cultural, economic and tourism development. Explore a section of a “living” steamship, interactive exhibits and an in-water exhibit of 20 classic wooden Muskoka boats.
Gravenhurst Opera House 7km
The stunning Gravenhurst Opera House is situated in the heart of downtown Gravenhurst; the Gateway to Muskoka. Featuring art & cultural programming year-round, this historic gem is credited of having been home to the birth of summer theatre in Ontario. With over a century of great entertainment and over 100 performances scheduled, this will be one of the most spectacular summers ever.
The Bakery 6km
Since 1959, this multi-generational family run bakery has been serving up fresh scratch-made bread and all kinds of goodies like blueberry pies, crunchy apple fritters, scones, Chelsea buns and doughnuts. Place your order at L-shaped counter, which also offers a line of gluten-free baked goods made with rice flour.

Muskoka Lakes Winery 38km
Cranberries are local to the Muskoka region and the pick of Johnston’s Bala harvest is used in Taboo’s kitchens. Take a drive to this 27-acre family farm, established in 1952, to see how cranberries are grown, harvested and transformed into preserves and baked goods. You can also enjoy on-site hiking and biking trails. Their Muskoka Lakes Winery offers tours, tastings and fruit wines for sale.
The Muskoka Store 13km
Pull off the highway for over 35,000 sq. ft. of must-have items for your family room or man cave. This true emporium offers a selection of everything from furniture and home accessories, to sporting goods, clothing, footwear and books. Open daily all year including Friday nights until midnight, for when that browsing urge strikes.

If you’re looking for nightlife, stop at Casino Rama, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With over 2,500 slot machines, more than 110 table games, 10 restaurants and a 5,000 sq. ft. entertainment centre you’ll always find some excitement at this entertainment hot spot about 35 min. from the resort.
Rich Hill Candles 10km
Handcraft your very own souvenir in this popular candle factory after watching the expert chandlers in action. A panoramic window offers a close-up view of the antique taper dipping carousel thought to be over a century old. In addition to their main product, Rich Hill also has several aisles of trinkets and seasonal gifts to shop.
RMS Segwun or Wenonah II 7km
Hop aboard the fascinating Royal Mail Ship Segwun, North America’s oldest operating steamship, built in 1887, for a sightseeing or dinner cruise. Or enjoy the replica charm of the Wenonah II, complete with modern conveniences like air conditioning and an elevator. Whichever vessel you choose, a trip aboard an authentic Muskoka steamship is the perfect way to live a little history.
