POSITIONS AVAILABLE

 

BELLMAN/VALET/DOORMAN

To provide our guests with professional and superior guest service. To ensure each guest is welcomed upon their arrival, to be made to feel at home and thanked for staying with us upon departure so they will want to return. To assist in resolving guest concerns. Work and communicate with other colleagues in the Front Office and throughout the hotel. 

 

FRONT DESK AGENT (full time seasonal shift work - May ‘til October)

To provide our guests with professional and superior guest service. To aid in the daily operation of the front office in a safe and healthy manner and to participate in efficient pre-arrival, arrival and departure tasks. To assist in resolving guest concerns. Work and communicate with other colleagues in the Front Office and throughout the hotel. 

RELIEF NIGHT AUDIT (3 days frontdesk 2 night audit - May ‘til October)

Night audit is a methodical, systematic position requiring an individual who takes pride in their ability to provide detailed and accurate work. Working with established systems, procedures and standards to assist our accounting team in balancing the daily hotel activities. Also working with the front office team to provide courteous and professional guest service on a 24 hour basis. 

 

CONCIERGE

To provide our guests with professional and superior guest service. The concierge is responsible for providing information to our guests about Resort activities and local features/attractions, assist in making dining and other reservations, and assist in resolving guest concerns and requests. Work and communicate with other colleagues in the Front Office and throughout the hotel.

 

CONFERENCE ATTENDANT

Ensure that all function rooms/coffee breaks are set up in a timely fashion and in accordance to the instructions on the Banquet Event Order. Executes exemplary service for all resort functions by following the established standards for service levels and professional presentation. (part-time, casual)

 

BANQUET SERVER

Minimum of one year experience as a Banquet Server or Server, preferably in a resort setting and/or graduation/internship from a trade/community college with major coursework focused on front of house service standards. Must be able to maintain professionalism in a busy environment. (part-time, casual)

 

HOUSEKEEPING ROOM ATTENDANT

The Room Attendant is responsible for meeting or exceeding the cleanliness standards of the assigned guest rooms, common areas and meeting spaces. Some experience is required. 

 

HOUSEMAN

Stock carts for Room Attendants, remove soiled linen and trash, and distribute housekeeping supplies. Experience is an asset.

 

COOK

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year culinary experience/training from a college culinary program with an attention to detail and a sense of urgency that can provide outstanding product.

 

CHEF DE PARTIE

To produce hot and cold food items for service in the restaurant and catering functions, ensuring that all are prepared according to Taboo standards and specifications. 5 years’ experience preferred. Red Seal Certified is an asset.

 

STEWARD/DISHWASHER

The position of a dishwasher involves varied responsibilities, such as cleaning of the kitchen, dishes, pots, glassware and maintaining the cleanliness of fridges, freezers and the storeroom.

 

FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVER

Must have server experience either in a fine dining or casual environment, preferably in a resort setting and/or graduation/internship from a trade/community college with major coursework focused on front of house service standards. Must be able to cook and serve. Must have excellent communication skills,  be well groomed and enthusiastic. Must be able to maintain professionalism in a busy environment.

 

RESERVATIONS AGENT (Full-time, seasonal)

The reservations agent position requires a meticulous, guest service oriented team player with excellent phone and computer skills. A sales background with an excellent understanding of product knowledge is required.

 

SPA ESTHETICIAN

A minimum of 2 years’ experience is required for this position. The ideal candidate will be an esthetics graduate from a college/vocational school with exceptional guest service skills. Facials, manicures, pedicures and relaxation message are some of the treatments provided.

 

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST (RMT)

Provide exceptional personal service with an attention to overall comfort of the client/guest. Position is commission based. Must have 1-2 years’ experience and certification is required.
